Manley Klassen is happily married to Mara Klassen. Manley is father to three sons and both Manley and Mara share an adopted son in Uganda. Manley is passionate about discipleship and seeing people live a Godly life.

Manley holds a Masters of Science degree from UC Santa Barbara in California in Computer Engineering and worked at Ixia Inc, in Calabasas, CA until his retirement in 2015 to focus his time and talents on volunteering for Christian non-profit ministries. Manley’s other involvements include serving as an Event Facilitator with Compassion International, Chair and Treasurer/Board Member for Global Leadership Community, and Chair and Treasurer/Board Member for Emmanuel Discipleship Academy in Uganda.  He has previously served on the Board for The Kingdom Center, Gabriel’s House in Oxnard, CA (TKC), and Vice Chair/Board Member of Pastors Discipleship Network.

Mara and Manley are passionate about giving and financial stewardship.  Together they have led numerous small group studies for Crown Financial Ministries and Compass – Finances God’s Way as well as providing budget counseling.  They are Joy of Generosity facilitators for Generous Giving and want to share the joy of being generous with all those they encounter.

Manley resides in Oxnard, CA with his wife Mara.

Mara M. Klassen retired from a successful career in high-tech in 2012 to pursue her desire to volunteer full time.  Since that time Mara has helped numerous non-profit ministries refine their internal operations and improve overall data quality and practice efficiencies.  In her high-tech career, Mara was Director of Inside Sales and a Senior Business Systems Analyst for Ixia, Inc. in Calabasas, CA. Wanting to transition from “success to significance” she left the corporate world to bring her talents to small non-profit Christian ministries. 

Mara and her husband Manley attend Calvary Chapel Oxnard.  They have served together on the CCO Missions Board.  Mara’s other involvements include serving as an Event Facilitator with Compassion International, Secretary/Board Member for Michele Telfer Ministries, Secretary/Board Member for Global Leadership Community, and Secretary/Board Member for Emmanuel Discipleship Academy in Uganda.  She has previously served on the Board for Christian Foundation of America (CFA), Communications and Marketing Director for CFA, Office Manager and Consultant for the World History Institute, and Treasurer/Board Member of Pastors Discipleship Network.
